The Fontaine Berton (follow the route d’Autry and oppposite the track which leads to Petit Berton take the small path). In the middle of the woods there is an age-old washing place irrigated by a fountain.

The Church St - Pierre was destroyed in part by Protestants in 1567. It was restored and enlarged in 1836 undergoes the terrible flood of 1846.

The viaduct of Poilly, one of the longest in Europe (1886 metres) crosses the whole width of the Loire valley. It was initially built for a local line between Gien and Argent-sur-Sauldre.

Bernadette Chodron de Courcel, future wife of Jacques Chirac (President of the French Republic from 1995 to 2007), stayed at the castle of Marcault, in one of his aunts, from 1941 to 1943.

Cultivation of iris on 25 ha of land. When in full bloom, at the end of May, visitors are invited to come and admire this rainbow of colours.
