Overview

Batilly Eglise 2

Built on the site of a 9th century place of worship, the first church to have a permanent structure was completed in the 13th century. The bell, christened Elisabeth, was blessed in 1818.

Located at an altitude of 182 metres, "the Ousson" River is the main stream that crosses the village.This thickly-wooded village is also covered with a multitude of small, still-water lakes and ponds.
